MCF advises Peter Oppermann on the sale of a majority stake in Oppermann & Fuss GmbH and OF Mietpark GmbH & Co. KG (together “O&F”) to Bencis Capital
Bencis Capital, an independent private equity investment firm, has purchased a majority stake in the specialised retailer and provider of rental equipment, O&F.
Founded in 1977, O&F is a leading specialised retailer and provider of rental equipment and aftermarket services for crushing and screening machines in Germany. The machines sold, rented out and serviced by O&F are mainly used in the recycling process of construction material and thus, have an impact on fulfilling recycling quotas and reducing overall landfill.
By joining forces with Bencis Capital, O&F can use its leading position and market tailwinds to accelerate its development via international expansion, increasing its customer offering and pursuing strategic buy-and-build opportunities.
This transaction highlights the success of MCF’s Business Services team and demonstrates their ability to resolve the succession of family-owned companies and enable a seamless transition towards Private Equity ownership.
