Eight Advisory supported supported CERTANIA on its acquisitions of Clarke Banks Group and Xact Consultancy & Training
Eight Advisory provided financial and tax due diligence services to Certania as part of the transaction.
CERTANIA, based in Munich, Germany, is a leading European compliance consultancy in the Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) sector across life sciences, buildings and infrastructure and industrials. The business now employs over 1,000 professionals across its network of 16 partner and subsidiary companies.
Clarke Banks Group was founded in 2013 by Samuel Wright and Adam Melrose, and is a specialist in building control, fire engineering qualifications and fire safety strategy across the UK.
Xact Consultancy & Training is headquartered in Evesham, Worcestershire, providing fire safety and fire engineering training, qualifications and related consultancy services.
The acquisitions aim to build a stronger, more comprehensive UK offering in fire safety, fire engineering and related regulatory compliance. By bringing Clarke Banks’ building regulations and engineering consultancy together with Xact’s training and qualifications expertise under CERTANIA, the goal is to create a seamless “end-to-end” capability: from training and setting standards, through to compliance advice and engineering design.
