GCA Altium advises Diebold Nixdorf on the sale of Diebold Nixdorf Portavis to Datagroup

GCA Altium acted as exclusive financial advisor to publicly listed Diebold Nixdorf on the sale of a majority stake in Diebold Nixdorf Portavis, a provider of IT services for financial institutions, to publicly listed Datagroup.

Diebold Nixdorf Portavis is a provider of mission-critical application management and IT infrastructure outsourcing solutions for some of the leading German financial institutions – in particular in the savings banks sector. The Company, which was founded in 2005, is headquartered in Hamburg, Germany.

Raiko Stelten, Managing Director at GCA Altium, said: “With its new strategic partner Diebold Nixdorf Portavis is ideally positioned to address the ongoing digitalization in the financial services sector and enter its next growth phase.”

The transaction was signed on 17 January 2020 and is subject to antitrust clearance. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
