OMMAX advised AURELIUS on the successful acquisition of dental bauer and Pluradent
OMMAX supported the AURELIUS Group on the acquisition of dental bauer GmbH & Co. KG and Pluradent GmbH & Co. KG, two leading distributors of dental equipment based in Germany.
The transaction will be completed by AURELIUS’ co-investment structure comprising the AURELIUS European Opportunities IV Fund and the AURELIUS Equity Opportunities. Expected closing of the transaction is in Q3 2022, subject to approval by the relevant competition and regulatory authorities.
In preparation for the simultaneous acquisition of dental bauer and Pluradent, OMMAX supported AURELIUS with a digital due diligence and examined the two companies’ digital performance, evaluating dimensions like digital market dynamics, competitive landscape, digital performance, and value creation potential. Both companies have a solid digital foundation to become leading digital players in the sector.
