Benchmark International has successfully advised on the transaction between CLS Cleanaway Logistic Services GmbH and Eternity Systems / CAPZA

Benchmark International is pleased to announce the acquisition of CLS Cleanaway Logistic Services GmbH by Eternity Systems, backed by the French private equity firm, CAPZA.

CLS Cleanaway Logistic Services GmbH, based in Hamburg, is a leading company in the field of intralogistics. Founded in 2018 by Henning Hilmer, the company specialises in empties management and automatic sorting systems for bottles and crates. CLS also offers warehousing services such as co-packing, display construction, and relabelling. Moving forward, CLS will adopt the name CLS – Circular Logistics Solutions.

Eternity Systems, based in France, is a supplier operating across Europe and North America, providing sorting, cleaning, and repair services for reusable plastic containers used within the food industry for the packaging and transport of fresh products.

With the acquisition of CLS, Eternity aims to take advantage of significant synergies and expand its product portfolio in the field of bottle sorting, with a focus on large beverage manufacturers in Germany. The goal is to become an indisputable player in the circular economy sector.
