Igneo Infrastructure Partners acquires majority stake in Neumann Group
Igneo Infrastructure Partners (“Igneo”), a global infrastructure investment manager, has entered into a binding agreement to acquire a majority stake in Neumann Group, a leading German provider of incinerated bottom ash (IBA) recycling services.
Headquartered in Burg, Germany, Neumann Group employs around 320 people and processes approximately 1.5 million tonnes of residual ash annually, recovering valuable raw materials and high-quality secondary construction materials.
The transaction will be financed through commitments from Igneo’s European Diversified Infrastructure strategy and is expected to close in the second half of 2026, subject to customary approvals.
Following completion, Igneo will become the majority shareholder alongside Neumann Group CEO and co-owner André Hartl and the existing management team. The investment will support Neumann Group’s continued growth, strengthen its market position and enable further expansion into new geographic markets. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
