Metis Group (Gimv) has reached an agreement with EPAC’s existing shareholders to acquire a majority stake in the company

Metis Group has entered into an agreement with the current shareholders of EPAC to acquire a majority share in EPAC, a fast-growing electronics contract manufacturer in Printed Circuit Board Assembly, cable assembly and module construction. With EPAC joining Metis Group, the group further strengthens its position in the electronics market.

EPAC provides electronic manufacturing services focused on the high-mix low volume segment servicing 60+ customers.

The current management team consisting of Arno Boot, Iva Borisova and Svilen Borisov, will participate as minority shareholders and maintain their roles as managing directors of EPAC to ensure continuity and further growth of the company. The co-operation with Metis will enable EPAC to achieve accelerated growth and further increase the added value for its customers. EPAC complements Metis Group by adding a very flexible supply chain and production capabilities to cater high-mix and prototyping. Whereas Metis’ extensive engineering, technology and higher volume production capabilities will be beneficial for EPAC’s customers.
