Afinum Fund 9 successfully closed and already almost 50% invested

Afinum Management GmbH has successfully closed its latest fund generation Afinum 9, with total commitments rising to € 420m.

Despite the challenging market environment, the fund received strong backing from Afinum’s long standing investor base as well as new institutional investors. Afinum 9 capital commitments have therefore well outgrown its predecessor fund. As integral part of its partnership approach, Afinum continues to offer co-investments to its investors and has already granted around € 30m of co-investments to Afinum 9 investors to date.

Since its inception, the fund has made equity investments amounting to almost € 200m of committed capital into six new platforms and four add-ons.

With four platform investments in Afinum 9 acquired directly from the respective founders, the team has once again underlined its outstanding access capabilities towards primary and proprietary deal situations. With the current fund generation, Afinum remains strategically focused on the highly attractive DACH midmarket and equity capacities per transaction ranging from € 25m up to € 75m.
