CASE CASSIOPEA advised Clessidra Private Equity on the acquisition of a majority stake in Errebi Technology S.p.A.
CASE CASSIOPEA acted as Debt Advisor to Clessidra Private Equity SGR in connection with the acquisition, through the Clessidra Capital Partners Green Harvest fund, of a 70% stake in Errebi Technology S.p.A., a leading Italian manufacturer of high-precision moulds and cylinders for the food and pet food industries. The founder, Massimiliano Paglione, has retained a 30% stake, reinvesting alongside Clessidra to support the Company’s next phase of growth.
Founded in 1976 and headquartered in Badia Polesine, Errebi Technology is internationally recognised for its engineering excellence and technological know-how in the design and manufacture of high-precision moulds and cylinders. The Company serves leading global food manufacturers and generates more than 75% of its revenues from international markets, combining advanced manufacturing capabilities with highly specialised engineering expertise.
The acquisition is fully aligned with the investment strategy of Clessidra Capital Partners Green Harvest, a fund dedicated to supporting Italian SMEs operating across the agrifood value chain. Clessidra aims to accelerate Errebi Technology’s growth by strengthening its production capacity, expanding its technological offering and supporting further international expansion.
CASE CASSIOPEA acted as Debt Advisor alongside Androschin & Co (business due diligence), Ughi e Nunziante and Studio MNLex (legal), KPMG (financial due diligence), Efeso (operations due diligence), Studio Facchini Rossi Michelutti (tax), ERM (ESG) and Marsh (insurance). The acquisition financing was provided by a banking pool comprising Banca Ifis (also acting as Agent Bank), Cassa Centrale Banca and Banca Prealpi SanBiagio.
The transaction further reinforces CASE CASSIOPEA’s established track record in advising private equity sponsors on acquisition financings across a broad range of industrial sectors. We are pleased to have supported Clessidra Private Equity on this transaction, which represents another significant milestone for our debt advisory practice and further confirms our expertise in structuring financing solutions for complex mid-market private equity transactions.
