Cipio Partners promotes Dr. Ansgar Kirchheim to Partner
Cipio Partners announces that it has promoted Dr. Ansgar Kirchheim, who joined the firm’s investment team 18 months ago, to Partner.
Before joining Cipio, Ansgar was a Partner at High-Tech Gründerfonds, one of the most active seed and early-stage investors in the technology sector in Europe. He led a team of several investment professionals with over 30 portfolio companies and was directly responsible for companies such as SimScale or Hornetsecurity. Ansgar started his career at ERGO Insurance Group after which he co-founded and led KircTec, a German sensor technology firm. Ansgar holds degrees in Physics (Heidelberg’s Ruprecht-Karls University, Berlin’s Humboldt-University and Cornell University), as well as in Management (WHU Vallendar).
