Comitis Capital has announced that the company has entered into an agreement to acquire Threema, a leading provider of highly secure digital communication solutions, from Afinum Management and the company’s founders. Headquartered in Switzerland, Threema addresses the accelerating demand for data sovereignty, cybersecurity and compliant digital communication.
Scope of Work
Code & Co. conducted a comprehensive technical audit of Threema’s secure communication platform.
The assessment included an in-depth review of its zero-knowledge, privacy-first architecture, cryptographic foundations, deployment model, and technology stack, roadmap and product strategy, while also examining the platform’s scalability, security posture (in collaboration with intcube), and enterprise-focused roadmap elements.
Additionally, Code & Co. evaluated the engineering organization, software development lifecycle, and test automation maturity.
