Code & Co. provides Tech & Product Due Diligence to Proalpha ahead of its acquisition of Insiders Technologies GmbH, a provider of AI-based solutions for the automation of document-centric business processes

The Proalpha Group, one of the leading providers of business applications for SMEs, has acquired Insiders Technologies GmbH (Insiders) and significantly expanded its Industrial AI Platform with leading AI applications and services for digital document processing. Proalpha is committed to its roots in its home region and is strengthening its cooperation with leading AI institutes such as the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), the Fraunhofer Institutes IESE and ITWM and the Rhineland-Palatinate Technical University of Kaiserlautern-Landau (RPTU), with which Insiders has been cooperating closely for many years. Closing of the transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals.

Scope of Work

Code & Co. reviewed Insiders Technologies’ document processing platform and modular product offering, assessing its architecture, cloud infrastructure, comprehensive proprietary ML/AI capabilities, and cyber security and resilience measures. 

The review also covered the company’s product roadmap, integration ecosystem, and operational scalability.

Finally, Code & Co. evaluated the engineering organization, software development lifecycle, robust CI/CD pipelines, and quality practices.
