Deloitte advised ERGO on transfer of ERGO Pro to Artemis Group

Deloitte Corporate Finance Advisory has advised ERGO Deutschland AG on the transaction involving the transfer of ERGO Pro to Artemis Group, which is backed by Oakley Capital. The team was led by Reiner Schwenk, Gerasimos Papadatos and Ilenia Baldelli and supported by Fabian Wiegelmann and Sina Wessling.

ERGO Pro is a multi-level sales organization with over 4,000 sales partners and part of ERGO Beratung und Vertrieb AG, the overarching sales organization of ERGO Deutschland AG. As such, ERGO Pro specializes in exclusively distributing various ERGO insurance products, with a strong focus on the life insurance segment. As part of the transaction, the previous ERGO Pro organization will, under the new name ONE Financial Services AG, become part of Artemis Group’s integrated distribution platform and operate independently in the market.

During the transaction, Deloitte demonstrated best-in-class M&A execution capabilities through the strength of Deloitte’s multi-disciplinary Corporate Finance Advisory and Transaction Services team.
