GBC Group acquires Furtok

GBC Group has acquired Furtok media, a Solingen-based IT partner with deep expertise in the DATEV ecosystem. The transaction marks the twelfth acquisition in GBC Group’s ongoing buy-and-build strategy together with Pride Capital Partners and further expands its presence in North Rhine-Westphalia.

Founded in 1999, Furtok media has built a strong and trusted position serving tax advisors and SMEs, with particular strength in DATEV solutions, PARTNERasp, cloud, and managed services. Irek Furtok, who developed the business over more than two decades, will continue to lead the company within GBC Group, ensuring continuity for both customers and employees.

For GBC Group, the acquisition strengthens its footprint in Rhineland while deepening its specialization in the tax advisor segment. It adds meaningful capabilities in DATEV-related services and enhances the group’s ability to deliver tailored IT solutions to its core client base. This acquisition is another consistent step in the buy-and-build journey of GBC Group, reinforcing the strategy of combining strong regional players into a broader, integrated platform.

Since Pride Capital Partners entered into a partnership with GBC Group in 2022, the company has grown from a handful of locations to a leading managed services platform with over 500 employees. The addition of Furtok media is the latest milestone in that shared journey.
