INVENSITY advises HANNOVER Finanz on the investment in PAUL Tech AG with a technical due diligence
- Mannheim-based climate tech company PAUL Tech AG receives 40 million euros as part of growth financing
- Technology and management consultancy INVENSITY provides technical due diligence
With this investment, HANNOVER Finanz is expanding its involvement in the rapidly growing market for innovative solutions and technologies to mitigate climate change. PAUL will use the newly provided funds in particular for investments and further growth.
With its core product PAUL Performance, the company has developed a system that it claims can reduce energy consumption and therefore energy costs in buildings by up to 40 percent through permanent adaptive hydraulic balancing in real time. This also makes it possible to install heat pumps in buildings where this was previously not technically feasible.
„PAUL’s technical solution is highly innovative and supports the real estate industry in achieving its climate targets. At the same time, the product is minimally invasive and comes without any additional burden for tenants and landlords,“ says Matthias Welge, Head of Investor Support at INVENSITY.
The system, which is controlled by intelligent software using artificial intelligence, is designed to enable owners of buildings of all asset classes to increase their energy efficiency class and thus the value of their property and obtain better financing conditions.
PAUL’s customers include property owners‘ associations, housing associations, real estate investors and commercial enterprises.
The technical due diligence was conducted at INVENSITY by:
- Mattias Welge (Head of Investor Support, Lead)
- Daniel Meyn (Principal Consultant, Technology)
- Simon Hofmann (Principal Consultant, Software/AI)
