Deal Announcement: Ardian x Munich Electrification

LSJ Advisory is pleased to have advised Ardian Expansion on its acquisition of a majority stake in Munich Electrification (ME).

Munich Electrification develops battery management systems (BMS), electronics, control and sensor components, and software for electric mobility and battery energy storage systems. The transaction is a prime fit with LSJ Advisory’s core competencies in Mobility Tech and Industrial Tech.

Ardian, one of Europe’s leading private investment firms, will provide additional growth capital to accelerate Munich Electrification’s strategic development, expansion into new market segments and geographies as well as selective buy-and-build opportunities. The transaction remains subject to customary regulatory approvals.
