OMMAX advised Alpina Partners on their investment into FINAplus
We advised Alpina Partners GmbH (“Alpina Partners”) on their investment into FINAplus GmbH (“FINAplus”), a wealth management software platform comprising PS plus Portfolio Software + Consulting GmbH (“PSplus”) and FinaSoft Gmbh (“FinaSoft”). The current management team will retain a substantial stake in the business and will support the next growth phase of FINAplus.
The DACH market for wealth management software is highly attractive and is estimated to grow at ~11% CAGR (2022F-26F). Positive fundamental drivers of the market include increased digitization ambitions following the COVID-19 pandemics as well as general industry trends.
In preparation for the investment, we supported Alpina Partners by a commercial and tech due diligence and examined FINAplus’s business model, market dynamics, competitive landscape, customer performance, and assessed management’s business plan to derive actionable commercial and digital value creation opportunities. Also, a tech strategy and IT architecture review has been conducted.
