Managed service provider Arcus IT, with eight offices spread across The Netherlands has acquired DIFFERIT, located in Hengelo. DIFFERIT is a certified AFAS implementation partner. As a result of this acquisition Arcus IT expands its geographical coverage in the Netherlands, strengthens its presence in multiple verticals and and the company grows to > 200 employees.
In May 2020, Pride Capital Partners has provided a mezzanine loan to Arcus IT to finance the buy and build strategy. Since then, Arcus IT has realized 5 successful acquisitions. Next to the acquisition of DIFFERIT, Arcus IT acquired Itass, ICTaurus, Phylax ICT and Syson Automatisering.
DIFFERIT is a certified AFAS partner and supports its clients in many different facets of the business software: from consultancy and implementation to trainings and optimizations. The experienced organization has specialized in the accountancy, cultural, healthcare, business services, trade and production verticals. The acquisition enables Arcus IT to service its clients on a functional level regarding their business processes, next to the infrastructural and technical application management. Therefore, this acquisition is a logical step in the development of the services and value add that Arcus IT offers.
Buy and build strategy
Since inception, Arcus IT already successfully completed 10 strategic acquisitions and is looking to expand by adding new companies to the group. The preferred acquisitions are active in a specific vertical or can add value by means of geographical expansion for Arcus IT to realize nationwide coverage.
