Triton Partners to acquire United Initiators
Triton Fund 6, advised by Triton Partners, has signed an agreement to acquire United Initiators, a pure play manufacturer of active oxygen solutions, from Funds advised by Equistone Partners Europe. The transaction is subject to customary and regulatory approvals and is expected to close in Q4 2026. Terms and conditions of the transaction are not disclosed.
Founded in 1911 and headquartered in Pullach (Germany), United Initiators (“UI”) is a specialty chemicals manufacturer and serves a diversified blue-chip customer base across the world. UI’s products are used to initiate polymerisation and for its oxidation potential across a wide range of applications. The Company employs more than 800 people and operates 9 manufacturing facilities and 2 warehouses across EMEA, the Americas and APAC.
This acquisition of United Initiators marks the third acquisition of an Industrial Tech company for Triton Partners this year and the seventh acquisition for Triton Fund 6 overall.
