INVENSITY advises Verdane on its majority investment in Konvekta with a technical due diligence
- Verdane has made a significant majority investment in Konvekta, a global technology leader in high-performance energy recovery for ventilation and air conditioning systems
- The partnership enables Verdane to grow its portfolio, as well as provide Konvekta the opportunity to scale their offerings globally and further expand its expertise
- Technology and management consultancy INVENSITY provided technical due diligence
The technology and management consultancy INVENSITY GmbH advised the specialist growth buyout investment firm Verdane on its majority investment in Konvekta and conducted the technical due diligence. As a global technology leader in high-performance energy recovery for ventilation and air conditioning systems, Konvekta has delivered over 1,000 projects across all climate zones and reduces more than 530,000 tons of CO2 emissions annually.
Konvekta’s sophisticated mathematical modelling software uses a digital twin method that allows Konvekta to design systems that can save more than 90% of a building’s energy and the corresponding CO2 emissions.
Through the partnership, Verdane grows its portfolio of sustainable, tech-enabled companies. More importantly, Verdane provides Konvekta the opportunity to scale their offerings globally and further expand its expertise in the complex high-performance energy recovery space.
Our Head of Investor Support Matthias Welge offers his insights on the partnership: “We congratulate Verdane on their partnership with Konvekta and are proud to have supported the technical due diligence for this market leader in high-performance building energy recovery systems based on proprietary tech know-how and software. Konvekta’s technology offers significant potential for energy savings and CO₂ reduction in buildings worldwide.”
